Anne-Marie is a woman with a servant’s heart. An author, speaker, mentor, coach,
minister, therapist, wife, mother, sister, and friend. She loves reading, cooking, writing,
listening to music, and engaging in nature walks as she talks with God. Her heart is
drawn to grace, forgiveness, justice, equality, and purposeful living. As a marriage and
family therapist, and relationship specialist in Maryland, she guides individuals through
life transition issues, mental health, couple connections, and emotional healing. She is
the practice owner of New Seasons Therapy and Wellness which will be launched in
July 2024.
Anne Marie was born and raised in the Caribbean Island of Trinidad and Tobago before
migrating to the United States. She attained a bachelor’s degree in theology from the
West Indies School of Theology, Trinidad and Tobago, a master’s degree in Christian
Counseling from the Jacksonville Theological Seminary, Florida, and a Master of Arts
Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the Abilene Christian University, Texas,
USA. She is a member of the AAMFT and AACC.
Anne-Marie was a volunteer certified mentor with the Government of Trinidad and
Tobago, in the Ministry of National Security Mentorship Program, and a facilitator of
values education in Secondary schools in Tobago. Throughout her career, Anne-Marie
counseled many and worked with women, youths, children, and families as an assistant
pastor.
In 2022 Anne-Marie authored and published her second book ‘When Love Calls You
Home – A Journey to Healing and Restoration’. A revised edition of her first book “The
Season of Our Lives” is now being prepared for publication.
Anne Marie is a military spouse of an Air Force veteran. They reside in Maryland and
together they parent and mentor two young adults.
