Lauren Hughes-Holt, EdD-C, MS, ADT, CWPE-F is a System Learning Administrator in addition to a Senior Director of Advocacy for families that need to be supported due to the effects of gentrification.
She has at least fifteen years of progressive experience assisting in the development of program and compliance systems within OHEP, Primary School Education, TANF, SNAP, and WIOA data management delivery systems to improve case management.
Previously, Lauren served as the Human Services Program Planning Administrator for the Office of Home Energy Programs within the Family Investment Administration. Since 2022 she has assisted in developing training and monitoring for the Low-Income Household Water Program.
Prior to returning to FIA in 2022, Lauren worked as a Family Services Manager for the Head Start Program. During her five-year tenure she worked to maintain collaborations with Anne Arundel County Public Schools and Head Start to provide case management and support services for children and families. Lauren also serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors in Newark, New Jersey for the PUSH initiative.
Lauren earned a M.S. in Human Services – Addictions with licensure from the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors, a B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Applied Behavior Analysis focusing on children with autism spectrum disorders and is currently pursuing an Advanced Doctorate in Innovation and Leadership Program Development with a minor in Public Policy from Purdue.
